ThunderWolves finish 13th at regional crossover
GOTHENBURG, Neb. - CSU-Pueblo found itself near the back of the pack in the 17-team RMAC/NSIC Crossover, being held in Gothenburg, Neb., finishing in 13th place.
The Pack was led by Brandon McCoy (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.), who finished 16th in the 83-member field, turning in a +18 234, 13 shots out of first place. McCoy had two sub-80 rounds, shooting 76 in the first round and 77 in the third round.
But three ThunderWolves finished in the bottom 20 at the tournament, dooming the Pack's team score. CSU-Pueblo was the lowest-finishing RMAC team in the tournament.
CSU-Pueblo's next tournament will be in Phoenix Oct. 5 at the Grand Canyon Tournament.
