TRINIDAD, Colo. -- CSU-Pueblo finished at the back of the pack in the abbreviated RMAC Fall Championships Tuesday, finishing tied for ninth out of ten teams.
The ThunderWolves were led by Chad Novak (So., Pueblo, Colo.), who shot a +5 77, which put him in 18th place in the field of 50. Only one other ThunderWolf, Phil Daurio (Jr., Pueblo West. Colo.) managed to break 80, shooting a +6 78 (23rd place).
The tournament was reduced from three rounds to one due to inclement weather. Monday, a partial first round took place, and the teams were going to finish the first round this morning before playing round two, but snow on the course resulted in cancellation of the first round.
The RMAC men's golf spring championship will be played April 19-20, 2010 at Poston Butte Golf Club in Florence, Arizona.
Scores from the fall and spring championships will be combined to determine the RMAC Men's Golf champion and all-conference teams.
