PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Sept. 29, 2010) - The ThunderWolves' drastic rise up the national rankings continued Wednesday, as CSU-Pueblo weighed in at 38th in the nation, up nearly 100 spots in the last year.

CSU-Pueblo is one of three RMAC teams in the GolfStat.com national top 40 rankings, joining UC-Colorado Springs (9th) and Colorado School of Mines (37th).

CSU-Pueblo has risen dramatically in the last season, up from 122nd in the nation a year ago at the time and weighed in at a high of 92nd near the end of last season, when it qualified for its ninth consecutive national tournament.

"It has been an awesome rise for our team," Pack golf coach Josh Koschke said.  "This team has come a long way in a short amount of time."

CSU-Pueblo will take part in another big tournament with national ranking implications on Oct. 4 at the Grand Canyon Invitational in Estrella, Ariz.
