Novak earns PING All-Region honors

NORMAN, Okla. (GoThunderWolves.com - June 16, 2011) – CSU-Pueblo junior golfer Chad Novak (Jr., Pueblo, Colo.) has been named to the PING Golf Division II All-Central Region team, PING released Thursday.
A total of 104 players across eight regions - East, Atlantic, Southeast, South, Midwest, South Central, Central and West - earned all-region honors for 2011.
In 2011, Novak established himself as the preeminent golfer in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, being named the RMAC Golfer of the Year and winning the 2011 RMAC Individual Spring Championship, helping the ThunderWolves to the team title in the Spring Championship, as well.
He also led the Pack to a top five finish at the NCAA Division II Super Regionals as the ThunderWolves earned a berth to the National Championships for the first time since 1994.
