COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. ( - Aug. 25, 2011) - The ThunderWolves men's golf team, fresh off its run at the national championships in May, have been picked by the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference coaches to win the conference title this season, according to the RMAC Men's Golf Coaches' Preseason Poll released Thursday.

In addition, two ThunderWolves, Chad Novak (Sr., Pueblo, Colo.) and Jonathan Park (So., Denver, Colo.) were each selected as members of the five-member Preseason All-RMAC squad.

The Pack, which rolled to the 2012 RMAC Spring Championship after posting its best team score in school history, kept it up by qualifying for the National Championships with a top five finish at super regionals.  The ThunderWolves' national berth was its first since 1994.

CSU-Pueblo returns each member of its 2010-11 squad, and was greeted with seven first place votes out of 10 men's golf schools in the conference.

The Pack's season begins September 6 at the Adams State Grizzly Invitational in Alamosa, Colo.
