Pack moves up on final day at NSIC/RMAC Fall Crossover
GOTHENBURG,Neb.(GoThunderWolves.com-Sept. 26,2011)- Heading into the final round in the Northern Sun and Rocky Mountain Conferences Fall Crossover tournament being held on the Wild Horse Golf Course in Gothenburg, Neb., the ThunderWolves wanted to move up.
Move up they did as the Pack helped the teams in the RMAC hold off the Northern Sun teams from the top three spots. The Pack finished third in this 21 team tournament.
James Berry (Jr., Traverse City, Mich.) and Bryan Kruse (Sr., Westminster, Colo.) led the ThunderWolves, tied for 15th, at 5-over-par total 221. Also finishing in the top 20 was Chad Novak (Sr., Pueblo, Colo.) in 18th just one stroke back from his teammates at 222.
CSU-Pueblo takes to the road for their next tournament in Goodyear, Ariz. for the Grand Canyon Invitational starting on Oct. 2, 2011
