Pack finishes in Grand fashion

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz.-(GoThunderWolves.com-Oct.4, 2011)- Finishing strong is a goal that  all sports teams hope for and CSU-Pueblo's men's golf team picked one of the right times to have a grand performance.

Playing in the third round of the Grand Canyon Fall Invitational on the Wigwam Golf Course in Litchfield Park, Ariz., the Pack picked up strokes and places to finish eigth.  In a field of 20 teams, CSU-Pueblo and UC-Colorado Springs were the only two RMAC representatives to break the top 10.

Continuing to pace the ThunderWolves was Jonathan Park (So.,Denver, Colo.) who played even-par over all three rounds to place him 12th individually.

The fall portion of the men's golf season closes at the Colorado Christian Invitational/RMAC #3 being played at Racoon Creek Golf Course in Denver, Colo. starting on Oct. 9.  Play starts at 8 a.m.
