Kinsey earns RMAC honor for second time in 2008
CSU-Pueblo redshirt freshman Robert Kinsey (RFr., Denver, Colo.) simply keeps on producing - and turning the heads of the entire RMAC - as he was selected the RMAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the second time this season following a weekend in which he scored two goals and logged an assist as the Pack earned two road wins.
Kinsey's five-point weekend gave him 10 goals on the season, the top goal mark in the RMAC. His 21 points are second in the conference behind Metro State's Kellen Johnson (9G, 5A).
Kinsey's current statistical marks have him ranked as the 18th best goal-scorer in the country and 30th most points in the country.
In CSU-Pueblo history, Kinsey's 21 points and 10 goals have him already ranked 7th in both categories. If he keeps up his current pace (averaging one goal and 2.10 points per game), he will own the single season team record in both categories.
