Pack earns first top-25 ranking since 2006

With their second win over Metro State this season last Friday, the ThunderWolves were ranked in the National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) top 25 for the first time since early 2006.
The ThunderWolves came in at 25th this week in the latest NSCAA rankings. Last week, the ThunderWolves defeated Metro State 1-0 before falling to Regis 1-0 on Sunday.
The Pack was also ranked regionally, tied with Regis for third in the Central Region. Two teams from the Central Region are granted bids to the NCAA Division II National Tournament. All five teams ranked in the region are from the RMAC.
The ThunderWolves were last ranked on Sept. 19, 2006, when the Pack reached a high-water mark of 14th in the nation. The following week, the Pack fell out of the polls, never to return in 2006.
