Pack's struggles continue vs. Regis
Regis 3, CSU-Pueblo 0
DENVER, Colo. - CSU-Pueblo continued its rough string of games Sunday as it dropped a 3-0 decision to Regis.
The ThunderWolves faced 21 shots from a tenacious Regis offense as keeper Jacob Blum (So., Peoria, Ariz.) saw 10 shots hit on goal. Regis scored the first in the 25th minute, and added two more in the second half as the Pack was playing catch up all day long.
Offensively, the ThunderWolves recorded 13 shots but only placed four on goal. The Pack has now gone over three games without a goal, its scoreless streak at 273-plus minutes.
The Pack's loss, combined with a win by Metro State, the current fourth-place team in the RMAC, officially eliminates the Pack's chances of qualifying for the RMAC Tournament. The ThunderWolves, at 2-8 in RMAC play and 6-9 overall, are now 14 points behind Metro State, who holds a 6-2-2 conference record after defeating UCCS today.
