COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - CSU-Pueblo's men's soccer team saw four of its members attain all-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honors, the RMAC announced Thursday.
Midfielder Dylan Cook (Sr., Albuquerque, N.M.) and Erik Andersen (Sr., Phoenix, Ariz.) each earned second-team all-RMAC honors. Cook recorded four goals and a total of nine points from center-mid, earning his second-straight second-team all-RMAC selection. In 2008, he was also an all-region selection.
Andersen led the ThunderWolves in scoring with 10 goals and two assists for a total of 22 points. He broke a CSU-Pueblo record during the season by scoring a goal in six consecutive games.
Joining Cook and Andersen on the squad are third-team selections, Robert Kinsey (So., Denver, Colo.) and Brendan Hughes (Fr., Fort Collins, Colo.). Kinsey, a 2008 first-team all-RMAC selection as a freshman, was third on the team in 2009 with 14 points on five goals and four assists. Hughes was an RMAC Freshman of the Year candidate as he scored seven goals in his first collegiate campaign.
CSU-Pueblo will end its season Sunday when it takes on UC-Colorado Springs in Colorado Springs.
