Soccer programs to stage intersquad, alumni games

The CSU-Pueblo men's and women's soccer programs will hold its "Red vs. Blue" intersquad scrimmage this Saturday and its Alumni Game next Saturday, soccer coaches Roy Stanley and Janet Cassidy announced.

The "Blue vs. Red Exhibition" will begin on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 5:45 p.m. with the women's intersquad game, with the men's intersquad to follow at 7 p.m.  The intersquads will be the first opportunity for CSU-Pueblo players, coaches, and fans to witness a night soccer event at the Robert H. Rawlings Sports Complex.   It will also be an opportunity for any players who are in town participating in the Pueblo Rangers Sunbelt Classic Tournament to enjoy some evening soccer entertainment.  The games will feature two 25-minute halves of competitive soccer.

The CSU-Pueblo Soccer Alumni Games will take place Saturday, March 6 with the women's game kicking off at 12:30 p.m. and men's game at 3 p.m.  The Alumni Games will feature current men's and women's team members squaring off with alumni members from both programs.

Admission to both events is free.
