2010 RMAC Men's Soccer Championships Information

After finishing the season with a 7-10-1 overall record and a 6-7-1 conference record the CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolves earned themselves a spot in the RMAC playoffs.

The playoffs begin 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Golden, Colo. when the ThunderWolves take on the Regis University Rangers in the first round of the playoffs.Tickets prices will be: $10 for adults; $5 for seniors, children, and students with an ID; children 5 and under are free.

The Pack finished sixth in the conference while Regis finished third, two points behind second-seeded Fort Lewis. Colorado School of Mines finished atop the conference, finshing the regular season with a 15-1-1 overall record. Both these teams will receive bye's in the first round.

CSU-Pueblo has played Regis twice this season in a home and away series. The Pack played the Rangers tough in their home match, losing the game in the second half on a penalty kick. On the road, the ThunderWolves were defeated 4-1.

If the ThunderWolves advance past the first round they will play the two-seeded Fort Lewis Skyhawks Friday, with a 2:30 p.m. start time.

This season, the RMAC expanded the playoffs from four teams to six, helping the Pack reach the playoffs for the first time since 2008. They were defeated by Fort Lewis in the first round 2-0.
