COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Sept. 20, 2011) - CSU-Pueblo senior goalkeeper Jacob Blum (Sr., Peoria, Ariz.) was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week Tuesday after helping the Pack to a 1-0 shutout over Adams State last week.

Blum was solid in net for the ThunderWolves over the weekend, earning a shutout Friday night against Adams State and keeping his team in the game against Fort Lewis. He posted two saves in a 1-0 win over the Grizzlies, and made 11 saves in a 2-0 loss to Fort Lewis.

Blum receives the honor for the second time in his career, earning RMAC Defensive Player of the Week honors once in 2010.

He and the ThunderWolves will be in the spotlight Wednesday when it hosts archrival UC-Colorado Springs at the Rawlings Soccer Complex in an RMAC showdown.
