'Kickin' Cancer' soccer games are Friday night

October 14, 2011 (PUEBLO) ~ The Colorado State University-Pueblo athletics department is hosting its 2nd Annual Kickin' Cancer event on Friday to help increase awareness of breast cancer while raising funds for cancer patients and their families.
The event will take place on Friday, Oct. 14 when the ThunderWolf men host the Regis University Rangers at 4:30 p.m. and the women host the Metro State College Roadrunners at 7 p.m. at Rawlings Soccer Complex.
All participants are asked to wear a pink shirt to receive a discounted admission ticket to the game. Half of all proceeds collected that night will be donated to the Dorcy Cancer Center at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital in Pueblo. Admission prices with a pink shirt will be $4.00 for adults, $2.00 for seniors, military or faculty/staff, and $1.00 for kids ages 7 – 12 years. Kids six and under will be admitted free of charge.
