CSU-Pueblo set to battle Adams State and Fort Lewis

PUEBLO, Colo. (September 22, 2016) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer team remains at home this week as they prepare to battle Adams State University Friday at 7 p.m. followed by a match Sunday against Fort Lewis College, kickoff is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start both at the Art & Lorraine Gonzales Soccer Stadium.

The ThunderWolves return to action after dropping two games at home to begin RMAC play. The Pack fell 2-1 against Colorado Christian in the conference opener Friday. Mackenzie Paquette (Sr., Phoenix, Ariz.) scored his third goal of the season in leading the Pack.

Sunday versus Colorado Mines the Pack was shutout 3-0. Through the first half the match was scoreless with the Pack playing toe-to-toe against the formidable Oredigger lineup.

Friday's match will feature a halftime presentation as the CSU-Pueblo Athletics Administration will honor those students who have made the A.D. Honor Roll.

Following the weekend the Pack will play its final game of the homestand Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. vs. UCCS.

  • CSU-Pueblo is undefeated (12-0) all-time against the Grizzlies. The ThunderWolves beat ASU 4-1 at home in their final meeting of the season.
