PUEBLO, Colo. (October 13, 2016) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer team ends the home portion of its schedule this week as No. 24 Colorado Mesa and Westminster comes to town for a pair of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matches at the Art & Lorraine Gonzales Soccer Stadium.
Friday the Pack will celebrate Parent/Family Day at the pitch and Sunday Pack head coach Roy Stanley and his staff will honor the departing seniors in a pregame ceremony ahead of kickoff against Westminster.
The Pack returns to action after two wins on the road at Fort Lewis and Adams State.
CSU-Pueblo scored a 1-0 overtime win at FLC behind Miles Sanchez's (Fr., Bothell, Wash.) fifth goal of the season just one minute into the extra period. The Pack outshot the Skyhawks 14-13 in the contest and held 9-4 corner kick advantage.
Sunday at Adams State Lucas Rodriguez (Jr., Bogota, Colombia) scored his first goal of the season in the 79th minute to guide the Pack in the 1-nil victory. The ThunderWolves earned seven corner kicks to the Grizzlies five.
