PUEBLO, Colo. (September 28, 2017) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer team plays the final game of its five-game homestand Friday against Steel & Silver-rival University of Colorado Colorado Springs at 7 p.m. at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium. The Pack will then head to Alamosa Sunday and clash with Adams State.
The ThunderWolves are fresh off earning their first win of the season Sunday, defeating Regis 3-2 on a rainy day at Gonzales Stadium.
CSU-Pueblo received scores from Brayden Ballman (Fr., Seattle, Wash.), Miles Sanchez (So., Bothell, Wash.), and Cameron Campbell (So., Laramie, Wyo.). Senior defender Connor Marth (Tulsa, Okla.) assisted on the first and third scores and helped hold off a strong Regis attack late in the game and preserve the one-goal victory.
Pack goalkeeper Tyler Harvey (So., Las Vegas, Nev.) saved a penalty kick in the 73rd minute and faced eleven shots by Regis.
