Pack set to clash with Colorado Mines and South Dakota Mines

PUEBLO, Colo. (September 20, 2018) - Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer remains home this week and will complete a three-game homestand against Colorado School of Mines Friday at 4:30 p.m. and take on South Dakota Mines Sunday at 12 p.m., both matches at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.


Friday is Military Appreciation Night at Gonzales Stadium. All active-duty personnel and veterans will receive free admission for themselves and up to four guests. Sunday, the Pack will host YMCA Day and all youth wearing their YMCA jerseys will receive free admission to watch the Pack take on the Hardrockers.

The Pack is back on the pitch after starting RMAC play with a 0-1-1 record. In the RMAC Opener at Adams State, the Pack's Brayden Ballman (So., Seattle, Wash.) scored his first goal of the season in a 1-1 tie with the Grizzlies.

Sunday the Pack welcomed No. 19 Colorado Mesa and two different Pack players each recorded their first goals of the season in the effort. Patrick Baeumle (Jr., Wehr, Germany) and Archie Jones (Fr., London, England) each netted scores in the 6-2 CMU win.

Through six games so far, the ThunderWolves have seven players with one goal scored.

In Sight for the Pack

CSU-Pueblo starts a four-game road trip and play at Regis, UCCS, Colorado Christian, and at MSU Denver over the next two weeks of RMAC play.
