Last time on the Pitch
The Pack went 1-1 last week to complete a four-game road trip.
Friday the ThunderWolves beat Colorado Christian 3-2. Harrison Sikes (Sr., Moore, Okla.), Santiago Tinta (Sr., Quito, Ecuador) and Archie Jones (Fr., London, England) each scored in the winning effort.
Sikes netted his second goal of the season on a through ball that was placed low and inside the far post.
Tinta scored in the 24', controlling the ball in a scramble in front of the net and firing at the Cougars goalkeeper.
Jones put the go-ahead goal in unassisted when he controlled the ball atop the 18-yard box and shot high and into the back of the net. It is Jones' second goal this season.
Sunday at MSU Denver, Tinta scored his second goal in as many games in the 64th minute to even the score 1-1 at the time. The Pack put up a valiant effort on the road, taking the tied game into overtime where the Roadrunners put the game away 1:52 into the extra period and seal a 2-1 win.
In Sight for the Pack
CSU-Pueblo will travel west and play its final road games of the regular season at Dixie State (Oct. 19) and at Westminster (Oct. 21).
