[10/24/08] - When the ThunderWolves walked onto the Metro State campus Friday to take on the 15th-ranked Roadrunners, the distinct feeling was that Metro viewed their 3-2 loss on Oct. 10 to the Pack as an anomaly. After the Pack shocked the Roadrunners for a second time this season, scoring a 1-0 win, CSU-Pueblo proved that the win was certainly no fluke.

[10/1/08] - The Colorado State University-Pueblo men’s and women’s soccer teams are inviting all youth soccer teams to attend the ‘Steel and Silver Series’ games versus UC-Colorado Springs free of charge. The women will host the Mountain Lions at noon and the men will start at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, October 12, 2008.

ThunderPup clinic scheduled for Monday

Kinsey earns RMAC honor for second time in 2008
[9/30/08] - CSU-Pueblo redshirt freshman Robert Kinsey simply keeps on producing - and turning the heads of the entire RMAC - as he was selected the RMAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the second time this season following a weekend in which he scored two goals and logged an assist as the Pack earned two road wins.

[9/28/08] - The CSU-Pueblo men’s soccer team wrapped up its west slope road trip on Sunday with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Westminster College (UT). Udobong Obotette (Sr., Eugene, Ore.), Robert Kinsey (RFr., Denver, Colo.), and Ricky Itagaki (Aiea, Hawaii) each scored first half goals to headline the enjoyable non-conference encounter and help the Pack to its fourth straight win.

Men earn solid road win
[9/26/08] - The CSU-Pueblo men’s soccer team set out for another west slope road trip this weekend, but this one already looks better than the last. The men earned a 2-0 victory against the Eastern New Mexico University Greyhounds in Grand Junction on Friday, raising the Pack’s record to 5-4.

Clinical finishing the difference in win at UCCS
[9/21/08] - After a back and forth first half, the CSU-Pueblo men’s soccer team scored some lovely goals in the second half en route to a 4-2 victory against UCCS on Sunday, raising their season record to a very respectable 4-4.

Men survive late charge, beat Regis
[9/19/08] - The CSU-Pueblo men’s soccer team survived a harrowing final few minutes to beat the Regis Rangers 3-2 on Friday. Thanks to some balanced all-around play, the Thunderwolves were able to hold onto their lead and up their season record to 3-4.

Men lose to powerful Ft. Lewis
[9/14/08] - The CSU-Pueblo men’s soccer team saw its road trip come to a disappointing conclusion when the squad lost 3-0 to Fort Lewis. After battling the Skyhawks to a 0-0 halftime score, the Thunderwolves surrendered three second half goals. The men’s record is now 2-4.

Kinsey voted Convergys Player of the Week - again
[9/12/08] - Far and away the RMAC's top goal-scorer so far this season, CSU-Pueblo redshirt freshman, Robert Kinsey, has made his impression felt with visitors to GoThunderWolves.com, who voted him as the Convergys/CSU-Pueblo Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Men lose close one to Mesa State
[9/12/08] - Despite leading in nearly all statistical categories, the CSU-Pueblo men’s soccer team lacked a cutting edge in front of goal against Mesa State on Friday and lost 2-0. The result drops the Thunderwolves’ record to 2-3 on the season.

Men surrender lead, lose to Rockhurst
[9/7/08] - Even after jumping out to a 2-0 lead on Division II powerhouse Rockhurst University, the CSU-Pueblo men's soccer team fell on the road, 3-2. Goals from Trevor Martinet (Sr., Pueblo, Colo.) and Robert Kinsey (So., Denver, Colo.) gave the Pack an early cushion, but Rockhurst fought back to send CSU-Pueblo home unhappy.

[9/5/08] - High-flying forward Robert Kinsey continued his recent run of good form by scoring two goals in the CSU-Pueblo men's soccer team's 3-1 victory over Missouri Southern on Friday. The game, which was played in Joplin, Mo., was the first of two games that the men will play on this road trip.
