Pack ends fall season with three straight wins
Grand Junction, Colo. - The CSU-Pueblo men's tennis team closed
out its fall season with a 3-1 record following its 5-4 victory
over Mesa State Sunday, its second victory over their conference
foes in the fall season.
The Pack was led by its top singles players, Ricardo Oaxaca, Beau
Fresquez and Andres Morales, who earned wins in their singles
matches and doubles matches as well.
Oaxaca and Fresquez managed to win their singles matches in three
sets, then besting their foes in the doubles match by a mark of
9-7.
Morales cruised to a win over Jeremiah Driscoll in the singles
match, claiming a 6-0, 6-1 victory, before joining up with Mitch
Joyce to take an 8-3 decision in the doubles match.
The Pack's 5-4 win was its third straight this fall season. The
spring tennis season will kick off in March.
