Pack's Fresquez named RMAC Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - CSU-Pueblo senior Beau Fresquez (Sr., Pueblo, Colo.) was recognized for his heightened level of play in the Pack's trip to Phoenix on Feb. 12-14, earning kudos as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's player of the week, the RMAC announced Wednesday.

Fresquez 1-4 in singles matches as the Pack's number-two, and combined with teammate Ricardo Oaxaca (Jr., Puebla, Mexico) to go 3-2 in five matches against nationally-ranked competition.  One of the Pack's only losses was to the 10th-ranked doubles combo in the nation, BYU-Hawaii's combination of Rong and Ma. 

Fresquez and Oaxaca scored wins over doubles combos from No. 28 Midwestern State, No. 70 Cal Poly, and No. 18 UC-San Diego.

The award marks the second time Fresquez has received the RMAC's Player of the Week award, named to the honor on Apr. 2, 2008.
