Oaxaca claims 2nd RMAC Player of the Week honor

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - CSU-Pueblo men's tennis standout Ricardo Oaxaca (Jr., Puebla, Mexico) was named the RMAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week Wednesday for the second time this season, the RMAC announced.
Oaxaca notched a 3-0 No. 2 singles record and a 2-1 No. 1 doubles record (with partner Beau Fresquez (Sr., Pueblo, Colo.)). His only doubles loss was against Metro State (4-8). He earned wins over Western N.M. (7-6, 4-6, 6-3), Metro State (7-6, 7-5) and Colorado Christian (6-1, 6-1). He and Fresquez defeated WNMU (8-3) and CCU.
The ThunderWolves tennis team will compete in the RMAC Championships in Denver at Colorado Christian University Fri., Apr. 24 and Sat., Apr. 25.
