DENVER, Colo. - The CSU-Pueblo men's tennis team landed five on the all-conference squad, including three first team selections, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced Friday.

The ThunderWolves placed two on the all-conference first team in singles, Ricardo Oaxaca (Jr., Puebla, Mexico) and Philipp Penkatzki (Sr., Bottrop, Germany), and placed the team's top doubles combo, Oaxaca and Beau Fresquez (Sr., Pueblo, Colo.) on the all-conference first team in doubles.

Fresquez was also a second-team all-conference selection at singles, while Penkatzki and doubles partner Andres Morales (So., Puebla, Mexico) were second-team selections to the all-RMAC doubles team.

In years' past, the RMAC selected one all-conference recipient per position (No. 1 singles, No. 2 singles, etc.).  This season, the all-conference teams were changed to include the conference's top players, regardless of position.

The selections were determined prior to the RMAC Men's Tennis Tournament, taking place Friday and Saturday in Denver, Colo. (hosted by Colorado Christian University).  CSU-Pueblo, which was tied for second in the RMAC standings with a 6-2 conference record, were given the three-seed in the seven-team tournament.  The Pack's first match is against Nebraska-Kearney at 11 a.m.
