Wainwright named first-team academic all-RMAC

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - CSU-Pueblo number-one singles player, Julie Wainwright (Sr., Aurora, Colo.), was named a first-team selection to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's women's tennis all-academic team, the RMAC announced Thursday.
Wainwright was the academic player of the year runner-up in the voting, finishing behind the top vote-getter, Nebraska-Kearney's Katie-Mary Outhwaite.
Wainwright, a business major, boasts a 3.53 grade-point-average. As one of the top players in the RMAC, Wainwright was a first-team all-RMAC selection and had gone 6-2 in RMAC play during the conference portion of the season.
