CAMERON, Okla. - In a weekend that was more designed to expose the ThunderWolves to elite competition, CSU-Pueblo dropped a quartet of duals to four programs ranked in the top 30 nationally during a road trip to Oklahoma.
CSU-Pueblo only won one individual match, when top singles player Ricardo Oaxaca (Sr., Puebla, Mexico) won during the Pack's bout with 31st-ranked East Central. However, CSU-Pueblo had trouble keeping pace during the rest of the weekend's action.
"It was good chance to expose our team to elite tennis," coach Tom Durham said. "I think all the players took it as an opportunity to see where we want to be as this program improves."
CSU-Pueblo will bein its conference schedule next weekend when it travels to Metro State.
