Pack's season ends with playoff loss to Kearney
RMAC Quarterfinals: Nebraska-Kearney 8, CSU-Pueblo 1
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - CSU-Pueblo saw its season come to a close Friday in the RMAC Quarterfinals, losing 8-1 to Nebraska-Kearney in Albuquerque.
The ThunderWolves, which fell 9-0 to the Lopers a couple weeks ago, managed to get one win at one-singles, where Ricardo Oaxaca (Sr., Puebla, Mexico) secured a thrilling win 7-6 (7-4); 6-3 over Josh Raymond. The win allows the Pack's top player to end his career on a high note.
The rest of the ThunderWolves weren't as lucky, as the Pack couldn't measure up to the Lopers, which entered the tournament as the conference's three-seed. The ThunderWolves grabbed the six-seed.
