Hurtado named RMAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Mar. 23, 2011) - CSU-Pueblo sophomore Bruno Hurtado (So.,  was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the RMAC announced Wednesday.

Hurtado went 2-0 at No. 1 singles last week against Colorado Christian (7-5, 6-1) and Bethany (6-3, 6-4). He and No. 1 doubles partner Saul Shrom (Fr., Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) defeated Colorado Christian 8-3, while he and doubles partner Rafael Rivera (Sr., Bingen, Germany) fell to Bethany, 9-7.

Hurtado becomes the second ThunderWolf to earn the weekly honor this season, joining Shrom, who was named RMAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week March 9.
