ThunderWolves fall in tune-up with Division I Air Force
USAFA, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Jan. 21, 2012) - CSU-Pueblo faced stiff competition in a rare January dual Saturday, falling to Division I Air Force 9-0.
Despite losing all nine matches, CSU-Pueblo fared well in each match and didn't roll over in any set.
The Pack's closest chance at a win came at five-singles, as Tom Chavez (Jr., Pueblo, Colo.) nearly knocked off Joey Brandt, falling 6-3, 7-6 (4).
The ThunderWolves exited the dual taking pride in the fact that in all but one set, the ThunderWolves weren't shut out.
With the cobwebs worked out, CSU-Pueblo will return to the courts on Feb. 4 when it will take on another Division I opponent in the University of New Mexico.
