Donnie Beauvais was named the CSU-Pueblo men's tennis coach onJan. 19, 2012. 

Beauvais is a well-known name, both in the Southern Coloradotennis community and in the annals of CSU-Pueblo men'stennis. 

As an assistant for the men's and women's tennis program from2000-06 under RMAC Women's Tennis Coach of the Century, Bob Scott,he had his hand in coaching 12 All-RMAC singles selections(including 2001 RMAC Player of the Year, John Pendon) and 10All-RMAC doubles combinations. 

As a player from 1974-78 at CSU-Pueblo, he won two conferencesingles championships as well as two conference doubleschampionships, one title coming at one-doubles in 1978 withCSU-Pueblo Athletics Hall of Famer and two-time All-American, CareyBrading.  He also joined with Brading to win the 1978 NAIADistrict VII doubles championship.

His involvement in CSU-Pueblo tennis over the years has beenextensive, as both of his sons, Brandon and Donnie, also playedtennis for the ThunderWolves.
