Swanberg selected as RMAC Pitcher of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Pack pitcher Kelsey Swanberg has been selected as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week, the RMAC announced Tuesday.

Swanberg put together her best weekend of her career, making three starts against Nebraska-Kearney and earning wins in all three games.  In her three starts, Swanberg boasted an ERA of just 1.65, striking out 15 batters in 17 innings of work.  She also got it done with the bat, going 3-for-10 in the series, scoring three times.

Swanberg becomes the second ThunderWolf pitcher this season to be recognized as a pitcher of the week by the RMAC.  Teammate Amber Higby received the honor two weeks ago.

Earlier this season, teammate Ashley Aldrich was recognized by the RMAC as the player of the week, as well.
