Pack softball stays at sixth in region

Releated: NCAA Division II Regional Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - CSU-Pueblo's fortunes for making the NCAA Division II Central Regional tournament remained strong Wednesday, as CSU-Pueblo remained at sixth in the region, according to the Central Region ranking relesed by the NCAA.

CSU-Pueblo, at 26-12 and 20-8 in RMAC play, have not qualified for the regional tournament since 2001, when the ThunderWolves won 51 games and hosted the tournament.  The region's top eight teams qualify for the tourney, taking place at the site of the region's top seed (currently Winona State).

The ThunderWolves are currently taking on Adams State, and will wrap up its regular season with a home series vs. Western New Mexio Saturday and Sunday.
