Pack's weekend tourney in Kearney cancelled

CSU-Pueblo will be one of many teams in the area without any games to play this weekend, following news of the cancellation of the 10-team RMAC/NSIC Regional Crossover in Kearney, Neb.

The tournament was cancelled due to winter storm conditions in Central Nebraska, tournament directors at the University of Nebraska-Kearney reported.  The tournament, featuring CSU-Pueblo and nine other schools, was to have been played at Dryden and Harvey Parks in Kearney. A total of 25 games were to have been played over the two days.

The ThunderWolves, which were scheduled to take a number of the region's top teams in Winona State (Minn.), Augustanta (S.D.) and St. Cloud State (Minn.), just to name a few, will not take the field again until the ThunderWolves' home opener against Colorado School of Mines at the Rawlings Softball Complex on Mar. 6 and 7.
