INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - CSU-Pueblo was ranked sixth in the NCAA Division II Central Region according to the latest regional polls released by the NCAA Wednesday.
Currently at 20-10 overall, the ThunderWolves improved from a ranking of 7th in the region last week by virtue of a four-game sweep of Fort Lewis this past weekend.
The ThunderWolves' place in the rankings are significant, as the top six teams in the region earn berths in the NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament, which kicks off May 14.
CSU-Pueblo remains at home this weekend, hosting Chadron State and Nebraska-Kearney for two games each at the Rawlings Softball Complex on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
