COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Jan. 24, 2012) - The CSU-Pueblo softball team was picked to finish sixth in the RMAC this season, including one vote for the Pack to win the RMAC title, according to the RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll released Tuesday.

Two ThunderWolves, shortstop Samantha Rios (Jr., Fullerton, Calif.) and outfielder Sarah Bosshart (Sr., Irvine, Calif.) were also named preseason all-RMAC.  Rios was a second-team All-RMAC pick last season while Bosshart earned Daktronics All-Region honors last year.

The ThunderWolves were one of six teams to gather at least one first-place vote in what is perceived to be a wide open race for the RMAC championship.  Colorado School of Mines was the consensus pick to win the conference title, garnering seven first place votes out of 14.

The ThunderWolves' softball campaign begins Feb. 4 when the Pack hosts Colorado Christian for a non-conference doubleheader.
