Join CSU-Pueblo for 'Strike Out Cancer' Saturday

Funds will benefit the St. Mary-Corwin Breast Center of Excellence campaign.


PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - April 6, 2012) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo athletics department announces the inaugural Strike Out Cancer event on Saturday, April 7 to help increase awareness of cancer while raising funds for St. Mary Corwin's Breast Center of Excellence Campaign. 

The event will take place on Saturday at Rawlings Field at noon when the ThunderWolves host Colorado Christian University and at Rawlings Softball Complex when the ThunderWolves host the New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls at11 a.m.  The first 50 fans at each game will receive a pink Pack t-shirt and a ThunderFan, compliments of State Farm Insurance.

All participants are asked to wear a pink shirt to receive a discounted admission ticket to the game.  Half of all proceeds collected that night will be donated to St. Mary Corwin's Breast Center of Excellence Campaign.  Admission prices with a pink shirt will be $4.00 for adults, $2.00 for seniors, military or faculty/staff, and $1.00 for kids ages 7 – 12 years.  Kids six and under will be admitted free of charge.
