Pack bounced out of RMAC Tournament
Despite being the two-seed, Pack finishes 6th at tournament.
GOLDEN, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - April 26, 2012) - Despite two great pitching efforts from Justine Bosio, CSU-Pueblo bats were ice cold Thursday, mustering just 11 total hits and two total runs in two games as it was knocked out of the RMAC Tournament.
The ThunderWolves would lose 2-1 to 7-seed Regis before bowing out 3-1 to 6-seed Metro State.
It was a crazy day at the tournament as both of the tournament's top seeds, CSU-Pueblo and host Colorado School of Mines, each lost its two games to be the first teams ousted from the tournament.
CSU-Pueblo still has a chance for its season to continue, however, as it is hoping for an at-large bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament. It was ranked 5th in the region this week, with eight teams making the field.
A full recap will be posted later.
