Espinoza earns all-RMAC selection

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - CSU-Pueblo sophomore point guard, Rachel Espinoza (So., Pueblo, Colo.), was named first team all-RMAC West Division, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced Wednesday.

Espinoza was joined on the team by teammates Michelle Ambuul (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.), who was a second-team selection, and Mary Rehfeld (Sr., Juneau, Alaska), who was a third-team selection. 

Espinoza leads the ThunderWolves in scoring, averaging 13.6 points per game, and paces the team in assists, averaging 3.5 dishes per game.  She is also the team's top shooter, shooting .451 from the field. 

Ambuul, the team leader in three-pointers made, has averaged 13.3 points per game for the ThunderWolves.  Ambuul also paces the team in rebounds, averaging 5.7 boards per game.

Rehfeld, averaging 11.3 points per game in 2008-09, has risen to fifth on the CSU-Pueblo all-time scoring list this season.  She is second on the team in rebounds (5.4 RPG), and her 11 blocks this season leads the ThunderWolves.

CSU-Pueblo is taking part in the RMAC semifinals for the fourth consecutive season, seeking to defend their 2008 RMAC Championship.
