Espinoza claims third RMAC Player of the Week honor this season

For already the third time this season, Pack point guard Rachel Espinoza (Jr., Pueblo, Colo.) has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference West Division Player of the Week.
Espinoza averaged 21.0 points per game in earning all-tournament honors at the CSU-Pueblo Chuck Stephens Classic. She averaged 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2.5 assists per game as the Pack went 1-1 against Central State (W, 63-49) and Abilene Christian (L, 60-72). She registered 27 points, three rebounds three assists and three steals on Jan. 2 against Central State. They next night against ACU, Espinoza scored 15 points to go with her four steals, six rebounds and two assists. In the two games, she made 11 of 22 field goals, 4 of 9 three-point field goals and 16 of 18 from the charity stripe.
Espinoza and the T-Wolves will travel to the Denver area this weekend to take on Colorado School of Mines and Colorado Christian.
