Espinoza named RMAC Player of the Week for second time

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - CSU-Pueblo junior point guard, Rachel Espinoza (Jr., Pueblo, Colo.), has been named the RMAC West Division Player of the Week for the second time this season following the Pack's two wins in Nebraska this past weekend.

Espinoza, who was the RMAC West Division Player of the Week just two weeks ago, averaged 17 points per game in the Pack's wins over Chadron State and Nebraska-Kearney. She also tallied three steals in each game and averaged four rebounds and 3.5 assists on the weekend, while sinking 13 of 22 field goals (.591) and .778 free throws (7-for-9).

So far this season, Espinoza is averaging 16.2 points per game, the fourth-highest PPG mark in the RMAC, and is ranked in the top ten in the conference in field goal percentage (.508), assists (3.5), free throw percentage (.861), steals (2.5), and assist/turnover ratio (1.2).
