Pack begins season with highest poll presence ever

ThunderWolves garner an all-time high 10 votes in poll.

PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Nov. 3, 2010) - After a season that saw them earn their first ever win in national tournament play, CSU-Pueblo received 10 votes in the WBCA Preseason Top 25 poll Wednesday.

The Pack, which previously attained a high of seven votes in the final 2010 national poll, were one of four RMAC squads receiving votes in the poll, but were the lowest-ranked of the foursome.

2010 national runner-up, Fort Lewis, debuted at 12th in the nation in the latest poll, with Colorado School of Mines weighing in at 11 votes, and Adams State and CSU-Pueblo tied with 10 votes apiece.

The WBCA national poll has voting coaches rank teams from 1 to 25, with total points based on 25 points for first place through one point for 25th.

CSU-Pueblo's standing in the national poll marks the fifth time in program history and first time in 2009-10 that the ThunderWolves have appeared in the poll.  CSU-Pueblo has never been ranked in the WBCA Division II Top 25.
