COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Nov. 21, 2011) - CSU-Pueblo senior point guard Kendall Babler earned the RMAC's Offensive Player of the Week honor, marking the second time she has received the honor.
Babler, who previously earned the honor Jan. 24, 2011, was an all-Al Kaly Classic selection after leading the ThunderWolves to two wins over formidable Lone Star Conference teams, Eastern New Mexico (66-42) and Cameron (71-63).
Over the two games, she posted 25 points (12.5 PPG), shooting 7-for-20 and logging 13 assists (6.5 APG). She was also 9-for-10 from the free throw line, one of the big reasons the Pack held on to defeat Cameron Saturday.
Through the first weekend of the season, CSU-Pueblo is tied atop the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference with a 2-0 record, one of just two teams (along with Metro State) that are 2-0 and one of four that are without a loss thus far. CSU-Pueblo takes its act to California this week, where it will take on Cal State-Monterey Bay and Simon Fraser at CSUMB Classic in Monterey, Calif.
