CSU-Pueblo, which has gone 21-6 this season, claiming a school record for regular season wins in the process, earned its first ever at-large bid, receiving a five-seed in the eight-team Central Regional, which will be held at Wayne State College in Nebraska.  The ThunderWolves will open against Augustana (S.D.) in the opening game.

For the ThunderWolves, it is its fifth bid to nationals in the past seven years.  It marks the first time CSU-Pueblo has claimed an at-large bid to the national tournament - In each of the past four times the ThunderWolves made its way to the tournament, it was as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament champion, claiming the conference's automatic qualification for nationals.

CSU-Pueblo's showdown with Augustana will be Friday, March 9.  The winner of the game will face the winner of the region's top seed, Wayne State, and Minnesota State-Mankato on Saturday, March 10.
