PUEBLO, Colo. (December 9, 2016) – The unbeaten Colorado State University-Pueblo Women's Basketball team continues to make school history. On Tuesday, the Pack received its highest ranking ever in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, jumping to No. 9 in the WBCA D-II top 25.
After just three weeks in the WBCA poll, the Pack has vaulted from No. 19 to No. 12 and now No.9 as they continue to ascend in the rankings. This is the first season the ThunderWolves have been ranked in the WBCA poll.
The ThunderWolves are the only Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference team ranked in the WBCA poll. They stand as one of just 13 undefeated teams remaining in D-II.
CSU-Pueblo now ranks No. 11 in the Division II Sports Information Directors Association Poll. Like the WBCA poll, the Pack is the only RMAC team holding a spot in the top 25.
With an 8-0 record the Pack will continue its three-game road trip Tuesday night when they play New Mexico Highlands University at 5 p.m. Click here to watch the Pack play the Cowgirls.
