CSU-Pueblo Women's Basketball Camps

The Colorado State University-Pueblo Women's Basketball team will host three camps this summer designed to improve the basketball skills of girls from grades 3-12.

The first camp will be the CSU-Pueblo High School Team Camp, taking place June 6-8 at Massari Arena on the CSU-Pueblo campus.  The team camp will pit freshman, junior varsity and varsity teams from all high school classifications against one another.  Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of six games (two games per day) to compete against a high level of competition, showcase their skills, and improve their game. Games will be officiated by certified personnel. Brackets will be decided based upon level and classification of team.

The first camp will be the CSU-Pueblo High School Position Camp, taking place June 28-29 at Massari Arena on the CSU-Pueblo campus.  The position camp is a day camp focusing on the position-specific skills of high school-aged players.  Players will be divided into small workout groups according to their individual position (point guard, wing, or post) and will receive 10 hours of specialized instruction for that specific position from CSU-Pueblo players and coaching staff. Each session will also include competitive games in which players can showcase their talents and practice their new skills.

The two-day-long camp consists of four sessions.  Registration will begin at 1 p.m. on June 28, one half-hour prior to the start of the first session, which runs from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.  The second session runs from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on June 28.  Sessions three and four will take place on June 29, running from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The cost of the CSU-Pueblo High School Position Camp is $70 per camper if registered before June 14.  Late registrations will be assessed a $10 late fee.  To register, download the registration brochure here

The summer's final camp will be the CSU-Pueblo Elementary Camp, which is open to all girls in grades 3-9, will take place August 4-7.  The morning session for campers in grades 3-6 will take place from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.  The afternoon session for campers in grades 7-9 will take place from 1 to 4 p.m.  A camp registration covered four days of sessions for your age group.
