Pack in ninth after one round at West Texas A&M



Final results: 9th place out of 11 teams

The ThunderWolves followed up a solid day one performance at the Lady Buff Stampede at West Texas A&M Tuesday to finish in ninth place out of 11 teams.

Nicole Madrid led all Pack golfers with an +18 90 after one round, good enough for 23rd place out of the field of 57.  She did it even better on Tuesday, turning in a +15 87 to finish tied for 23rd place.  She finished 27 strokes off the pace of tourney champion, Western New Mexico's Tina Bickford. Madrid's mark was the sixth best among RMAC golfers at the meet, which included golfers from Western New Mexico and Adams State

Fellow Pack golfers Callie Young and Jordan Dew, weren't far behind, in 39th and 46th place, respectively.
