Pack golfers put up best marks of the year in Alamosa
ALAMOSA, Colo. - The CSU-Pueblo women's golf team turned in
their best finish of the season today, finishing 7th out of 11
teams at the Adams State College Grizzly Invitational at Alamosa's
Cattails Golf Course.
After entering the second round tied for 8th, the ThunderWolves cut
15 strokes off their first round mark to climb to 7th.
Pack freshman Jordan Dew led the ThunderWolves in the second round,
shooting a +12 84, cutting nine strokes off her first round total
of 93, improving her overall standing to 33rd place in the field of
59.
The ThunderWolves' best overall score was turned in by Nicole
Madrid, who finished in 27th place with a +31. Other golfers
contributing to the Pack's team score were Michelle Lujan (44th
+48), Callie Young (45th +49), and Crystal Samples (47th + 52).
