Pack women's golf miss record books

LITTLETON, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com-Sept. 13)-  Just one stroke.  If just one more putt would have fallen for the CSU-Pueblo's Women's Golf team, they would have tied the school record for single best team score.

The ThunderWolves combined for a team total 328 in the opening round of the Colorado Christian Fall Invitational held on the Raccoon Creek Golf Course in Littleton yesterday.  Their team total was one stroke shy of the current record, 327.  Even with this effort, the Pack is tied for 6th place in a field of 12.

Micheala Breit (So., Greeley, Colo.) shot the low round for the Pack.  Her score of 80 has her tied for 15th at 8-over-par on this par 72 course.  Julie Sanchez (Fr., Pueblo, Colo.) also made it into the the top 25, scoring an 81.  She is sitting at 9-over-par, tied for 23rd.

The Pack will take to the links again today,Tuesday Sept. 14., on the Raccoon Golf Course in Littleton, Colo.
