CSU-Pueblo's women's golf team flexes at Fall Crossover

OMAHA, Neb. -(GoThunderWolves.com - Oct. 3, 2011)  Closing out their fall schedule, CSU-Pueblo's women's golf team flexed their muscles with a fifth place finish in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conferences Fall Crossover tournament held on the Tiberon Golf Course in Omaha, Neb.

In a field of 18 teams at this regional event, the ThunderWolves moved ahead of all RMAC teams except for Colorado Mesa, which only squeaked in at fourth.

Domi DiNallo (So., Elephant Butte, N.M.) led a trio of Pack players to place in the Top 25.  DiNallo completed her rounds at 163 to finish 13th.  Michaela Breit (So., Greeley, Colo.) just one stroke back with a 164, placed tied for 15th.  Rounding out the field was Julie Sanchez (Fr., Pueblo,Colo.) with her final total of 168, putting her in a tie for 25th in the field of 90 players.

The women's team will return in 2012 ready to begin RMAC play.
